what the fuck, 2013?

This year passed so quickly and so much happened in such a short span of time. Luckily, I can't remember three-quarters of the events that took place. It's good because they are filled with emotions and tears and trans fats (I'm an motional eater).

I don't remember accomplishing anything this year except for learning how to make kale chips, which in my opinion are the best, not bragging. Also, I wasn't very focussed in school so my future is not looking very bright and as big as his nipples. Nonetheless, I still think I deserve an award for not dropping out of my school and killing myself.

However there are somethings I remember accomplishing this year like: Level up on my selfie game and dominating the shoe game with the Scullys. Also, discovering and obsessing over more boy bands and spending more time laughing at bad internet jokes than burying my head in my textbooks. Thus before I officially accept the fact that I've done absolutely nothing beneficial towards my already-not-very-promising-future, I would like to take the time to thank the things that helped me from not jumping off a roof. 1. The InternetHere is obviously where I spend 99% of my time laughing at bad tumblr jokes and watching useless videos and movies and getting catfished. The internet kept me sane.

2. Eyebrow Game
"Some are born with great eyebrows, some achieve great eyebrows, and some have great eyebrows drawn upon them." I for one had mine drawn on. So thank you sweet baby jesus for eyebrow threading services and Benefit's brow zings & gimme brow.3.  "Do you like music?"   "Do you like breathing?"  I've put some of my favourites into one thing below.

4. Movies and Series'

When I have tons of homework to do, I like to procrastinate and watch movies and series' back to back. This has led me to discover some of my favourite movies like: clueless, an education, ginger and rosa, submarine, breakfast at tiffany's, and a raunchy film called joven y alocada (this film actually got me interested in Spanish and one of my favourite phrases is "cierra la boca puta")

And television series like American Horror Story and 2 Broke Girls.

5. Bathtubs and Coffee and Wifi

That bathtub in the hotel that I would soak in almost every night when I was in Thailand. Coffee because I need it to function. And wifi because everyone's life depends on it.

That's all folks. I look forward to another year or (mis)adventures and meeting more fabulous people and spending more time on the internet. Happy new year.

playlist: sorta kinda happy

MERRY CHRISTMAS! It seems like everyone else is having a great Christmas except for me. This is probably my family doesn't do Christmas, aka going out to Christmas parties, eating turkeys and mashed potatoes (omg mashed potatoes) and receiving gifts and unwrapping them on boxing day etc.

Due to my lack of activity, I had too much time on my hands so I made a thing.

everything sucks

SOMEONE ASKED ME why don't I blog very often and I replied flatly that it was because my life is boring - which is very true. I don't have much "life" outside the house. In fact, outside scares me. Sometimes I regret immediately after I put both my feet out of the other side of the door. I ask myself "lol why the fuck did I do that"(yes those were the exact words) and and go back into hibernation.

Other reasons why I don't like going out is because I always get looks when I walk the streets. I constantly feel judged for the way I look and dress and etc. People suck. Anyway here is some Alexa Chung goodness. This was very relatable (to me) for the past few days.

I'm already regretting writing all that for I'm not one to tell people my feelings, oh bother.

Oh and I've also been very much into Spanish after I watched a Chilean film last night (which I'm not going to reveal the title in case people think I'm a pervert, which I am not. I'm just into 'coming of age' films).  My favourite phrase is "cierra la boca puta" which directly translates into shut your bitch mouth. I see myself using that sometime in the future.

That's all I've been up to recently. What have you been up to, I hope you are having as much fun as me.

land of smiles and mangoes

สวัสดี (that means "hello" in thai. whatever, I'm so pretentious)! So I recently just came back from my trip to Bangkok for the second time this year. It wasn't much of a holiday as I came back even more tired than I was before. Still, it was a great trip with loot to boot (shopping, what else?)

I'm sorry if this post seemed sort of half-assed. I was too busy with shopping bags and food to take quality (and quantity) photos.

playlist: i'm feeling bipolar lately

MY FOOT IS ITCHY: The title does not have anything to do with my mood, my foot was genuinely itchy at that point in time. My mood here is when I'm motivated and I feel like I can do everything I have planned out for the day; in other words, I'm feeling preppy (I think). However, I end up not being able to do because I've spent 3/4 of the day sitting in front of my laptop, watching "2 Broke Girls". Thus I switch my mood to the second playlist. Genre is mainly "alternative" or "indie" etc.

BITE MY LIP: Random title again. Here is when I'm feeling completely unmotivated and sort of "stoned" tho I'm definitely not on drugs. My mind and soul and eyes are tired from the stress of watching sitcoms for the whole day thus it is the best time to listen to music you don't actually understand (because no lyrics). Songs are usually best listened to on full volume - this drowns out the sadness when you realise you are not going anywhere with life. Genre is mainly electronic etc idk.

Fun fact: the bearded guy is a young Karl Lagerfeld, if I'm not wrong
Another fun fact: I don't know what I'm doing with this blog. Let's see how this goes

instaspiration n°1

ISN'T IT FUNNY how it's almost winter in some parts of the world while it's almost summer in other parts of the world? Also, now that my mum had stopped getting the "niagara falls", she has gotten pissier and more naggy which is stressing me out alot. In other news, I've been spending way too much money and in serious need of it.

dream a little dream

AS I FLIPPED THROUGH my first ever copy of British Vogue, I was delighted to find this charming editorial amongst pages and pages of advertisements (something that I don't very much appreciate, to be honest). The gap-toothed and pouty-lipped beauty, Georgia May Jagger, was featured donned in chiffons by Valentino and lace dresses by Dolce and Gabbana while running through lush countrysides.. oh how dreamy!
